Windy Acres is a fifty-pad manufactured housing community that is operated as a 55+ Community located in Chester Borough, New Jersey.
Chester Borough is a highly amenitized community, with a generous mix of both local retailers and national retailers. Less than one miles from Windy Acres, there is a ShopRite, Marshalls, and the “Streets of Chester” Shopping Mall.
Located in Morris County, Chester is only one hour from New York City. US Route 206 is the main north-south road through the area.
There are several train stations in the neighboring towns. The NJ Transit trains provide transportation throughout the state of New Jersey as well as New York and parts of Pennsylvania.
In 2016, Chester was named one of the top ten most beautiful towns in New Jersey. There are several recreational state parks including Hacklebarney State Park and Black River County Park. The Willowwood Arboretum, which is operated by the Morris County Park Commission spans 131 acres of gardens, meadows and walking/hiking trails.
